TBSI and OpenFIESTA invite all students who seek to be challenged in trans-disciplinaryinnovation and who would enjoy 10 days of intensive, in-depth, entrepreneurialpursuits to apply. Come and join us in Shenzhen, China this summer to interactclosely with innovators from a wide range of backgrounds for joint projects.Students who demonstrate great potential could receive a conditional offer toTBSI or Open FIESTA graduate programs. Our world-class academic resources andacclaimed mentors are here to make your summer camp experience special. The Global SummerCamp will cover open learning, visits to leading hi-tech companies, interactionwith international faculty and students, interdisciplinary innovation contest,etc., aiming to help future students better understand the Master’s Programs ofTsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI) and Open FIESTA, TsinghuaUniversity where unique education model is adopted that emphasizes integration- between students and faculty from China and overseas; between vastlydifferent disciplines; and between academia, industry and government - forcultivation of innovative spirit and leadership. This summer, we want to giveyou the chance to get to know us, and we want to get to know you, your priorexperience, and your future ambitions. Interviews for summer admission to bothTBSI and Open FIESTA Master’s Programs will be held during the summer camp.Stayed tuned for updates about our admissions process in the upcoming autumn of2016. Accommodation in Shenzhen will be provided for all the participants.

Application Requirements:

1. Priorities aregiven to third-year undergraduates currently enrolled in universities/collegesin and outside China (expected to graduate in 2017, open to all majors).
2. Provenexcellence in academic records of previous terms in universities/colleges.
3. Have a goodunderstanding of design thinking and innovation, planning to pursue a Master’sdegree in interdisciplinary academic areas.
4. Physically andmentally healthy, honest and trustworthy, have not received any punishment inuniversities/colleges
5. Fullprofessional proficiency in English, candidates having good experience ofacademic research, innovation maker and design are preferred.
