Overview:
The Education Program Director isresponsible for the establishment and delivery of the TBSI doctorate andmaster’s degree programs and other training programs, provides leadership andmanagement to ensure them continues to become world-class educational programsthat nurture the industrial leaders and entrepreneurship.
Reports to: The Directors andAssociate-Directors of TBSI
Responsible for: Education Program Staff.
Key relationships
Internal: Co-directors of TBSI ResearchCenters, Faculty members and lecturers.
External: Tsinghua and UC Berkeley GraduateSchools and Degree Committees,
Key Objectives
1. Assists to establish the educationprograms of TBSI, including the curricular, degree requirements, program procedures,quality control mechanisms, etc.
2. Oversees the delivery of the programstowards the objectives.
3. Oversees the promotion of the program toensure the recruitments of highly qualified students with great diversity.
4. Improves relations with current andprospective students and families.
5. Assists the TBSI campus facility andequipment planning to ensure the adequate supports for education programs.
6. Establishes the scholarship andfinancial aid systems for TBSI students.
7. Coordinates to ensure the adequatesupports from Tsinghua and UC Berkeley campuses for TBSI students.
