On November 27th, the 10th China Industry-University-Research Collaboration and Innovation Forum was held in Hangzhou, with the theme of “Collaborative Innovation, Achievements Transformation, Green Development, and Open Sharing”. The committee issued the 2016 China Industry-University-Research Innovation and Promotion Award, to institutions and individuals who made outstanding contributions to industry-university-research collaboration and innovation. Professor Laiqiang Huang (Pengcheng Scholar Distinguished Chair Professor, Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University; Professor of Precision Medicine and Healthcare Center, TBSI) won the 2016 CIUR Innovation and Promotion Award.
The establishment of China Industry-University-Research Award is approved by the Ministry of Science & Technology of China and National Office for Science & Technology Awards, as the first national award in the field of industry-university-research. It is an annual selection by China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Association, according to the Regulations on National Awards for Science and Technology.
