Peter E.Lobie

 

Dr. MA Shaohua received his BEng from Sun Yat-sen University and bothMPhil and PhD from University of Cambridge, where he worked on fundamentals andapplications of microfluidics under the supervision of Prof Wilhelm Huck andProf Chris Abell FRS. He joined the research group of Prof Hagan Bayley FRS atUniversity of Oxford as a postdoctoral research associate in 2013 to developnovel 3D bioprinting and tissue fabrication systems. His researchinterestsarein vitro and in vivo organ/tissue printing, microfluidics and point-of-carediagnosis.

 

Peter Lobie obtained a B.Med.Sci. (Distinction) and MBBS (MedicineFirst Class Honours) in 1992 from the University of Queensland in Australia. Hewas awarded the highest accolade from the University in the form of aUniversity Medal. His postdoctoral work was undertaken at the KarolinskaInstitute in Sweden where he also obtained his doctoral degree(PhD). He hasconsecutively held faculty positions in Sweden, Singapore and New Zealand. Hewas also New Zealand’s first chair of Breast Cancer funded by the Breast CancerResearch Trust. He is now is Professor and Senior Principal Investigator at theCancer Science Institute of Singapore.
