Tsinghua-BerkeleyShenzhen Institute (TBSI) held its spring semester’s first Directors’ Meeting. FeiyuKang, TBSI Co-Director, Connie Chang-Hasnain, TBSI Co-Director, Lin Zhang, AssociateDirector, Chunliu Sun, Assistant to the Director of TBSI and Annie Song,Director of Administration and Research Office, TBSI attended the meeting.
The meeting discussedabout equipment procurement, faculty recruit, Core-PIs’ wages and studentscultivation. A consensus was reached after the meeting.
In addition, theattendees scheduled Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) and Academic Advisory Committee(AAC) meetings which will be held at UC Berkeley, US nextmonth. Around 50 qualified IAB members and TBSI PIs will participate in themeeting. (Claire Huang)
