By the invitation of Professor Huanming Yang, Professor Yongzhang Luo, co-Director of TBSI's Precision Medicine and Healthcare Center（hereinafter referred to as Center 3）, vice co-Director Professor Hui Ma, and Professors Laiqiang Huang, Yaojiong Wu, along with and other three staff in the center visited BGI, and had a meeting with researchers in BGI on Dec. 24. 
Professors of Center 3 and BGI researchers held a discussion and shared their opinions on talent training. Professor Luo briefly introduced the organization of TBSI and its academic programs. After Luo's speaking, BGI researchers also introduced BGI's talent training plan, emphasizing the important role of young researchers in BGI scientific research.
Professors of Center 3 and BGI researchers also discussed academic exchanges. Professor Luo spoke highly of BGI's great achievements in genetic research, and suggested that a complementary collaboration between TBSI and BGI can benefit both sides, especially on cancer research.
