Dr Xiao is an assistant professor of intelligent transportation and logistics systems Lab, Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), Tsinghua university.Dr Xiao received herPhD degreefrom National University of Singapore, MSc degreefrom Chinese Academy of Sciences, and BSdegree fromWuhan University. Before joining TBSI, Dr Xiao was apostdoctoral fellowand a research assistant professor at Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Research Description
Xiao studies topics in the fields of supply chain management and service operations. In the field of supply chain management, she mainly focuses on both optimal policy and heuristic policy ofglobal sourcing in the inventory system. In the field of service operations, she mainly focuses on the strategic customer behavior in the service system and in sharing economy.
