This course covers a wide range of topics in supply chain management, including facility locations models, uncertainty in facility locations, deterministic inventory models, stochastic inventory model, multi-echelon inventory models and uncertainty in inventory optimization. The objective of this course is to help students to gain some perspectives on supply chain management, its classical models and emerging developments. The students are expected to gain the understanding of the methods to model and analyze supply chain models. More importantly, these tools they learned can also be applied to other fields, such as health care, energy, finance and service management.
